The Isle of Wight Gateway club is the leisure arm of Royal Mencap on the Isle of Wight. 

Gateway Club's offer a social and leisure club for Adults and Children with learning needs and disabilities.

Gateway believes in the empowerment of people with disabilities and encourages members with their goals and dreams.

Many of the volunteers and management committee that help to run the club have disabilities themselves. Members at club.

We support volunteers with learning disabilities to train and develop within their club, developing confidence, independence, skills, and social inclusion. 

The club offers a safe place to enjoy social and leisure activities whilst encouraging and promoting; personal development, empowerment, equality, choice and independence.

Everyone is welcome, however children under 8 must be accompanied by a parent / guardian.

The Isle of Wight Gateway Club is affiliated to Royal Mencap and the Isle of Wight Council.
